The I-595 Project hits another milestone opening to the drivers the permanent eastbound lanes from Nob Hill Road to Davie Road.

Construction is maintained at all times, the number of lanes and posted speed (65 mph in the mainline) is 170,000 vehicles/day on I-595 Corridor and 52,000 vehicles/day on SR-84

  • Bertha departed from the factory in February by boat in 40 pieces with over 900 tn of weigh. This technical of transportation is a state-of-art and with a great economic advantage. The pieces have arrived to Seattle in March

The SR 99 Seattle Bored Tunnel has constructed the biggest EPB TBM machine ever built named "Bertha".
